As a developer on the CesiumJS team, Jeshurun works on advancing 3D Tiles runtime capabilities, modernizing the CesiumJS codebase, and contributing to the overall health and capabilities of CesiumJS.
Jeshurun’s expertise is in JavaScript, WebGL, and 3D imaging. He has extensive experience working with subsurface data. He graduated from Texas A&M with a BS in Physics.
Prior to joining Cesium, Jeshurun spent 9 years working on 3D and 4D seismic imaging of the subsurface at CGG. There he led teams creating 3D and 4D images of the subsurface and collaborated with acquisition and R&D teams to help reduce cycle times and improve image quality.
Jeshurn also co-founded the startup EarthPeel, which offered a globe interface to make data about Earth’s subsurface more accessible.
In addition, Jeshurun raised purebred sheep for 10 years. Outside of work, he can be found remodeling their older home, gardening, or teaching a children’s theology class at his church.
